Regional Sales Manager 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Sales function covering the South East region. We are looking for an inspirational people leader to be responsible for achieving regional sales targets and someone who has proven experience in coaching, developing and leading a successful field based sales team.

This is a regional role covering all of the sales areas within our South East region including; Luton, Bedford, Peterborough, Cambridge, Norwich, Slough, Crawley and Portsmouth. Overnight travel may be required, as well as visits to our World Distribution Centre in Leicester. This will not be frequent. 

Your new role

  • Leading approximately 7 direct reports and responsibility for implementing a sales strategy and tactics to deliver sales plans, ensuring to achieve profit and margin targets
  • Development of improved working practises to maximise the performance within the sales region
  • Effectively communicating the value proposition to drive performance to increase market share.
  • Develop close working relationships with internal stakeholders and build strategic partnerships across the business
  • Being able to coach & develop team members, with the ability to identify talent
  • Embrace, facilitate, communicate and implement change, ensuring to keep team members motivated and engaged
  • Maximising new business development opportunities

What you'll need to succeed 

  • Robust leadership experience, preferably in an external salesforce capacity
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a sales team
  • Experience in creating and implementing a sales strategy, with demonstrable ability to think outside of the box and challenge others if and when needed
  • Ability to analyse sales data in order to drive sales  
  • Self-starter used to working with minimal supervision
  • Organised and structured
  • Hungry to succeed
  • Full UK driving license
