Technical Consultant - Birmingham
I am working with a Global organisation who support the retail industry with technology solutions. In-line with their huge growth plans, we are looking to hire 2 Technical Consultants who are experienced with POS implementations. These are Permanent positions based in the Midlands.
- Responsible for providing POS technical implementation tasks via a consultative approach, for both internal and customer projects
- You will be required to deliver well tested technical solutions and Gold Build processes in line with documented requirements
- Analyse customer requirements to create accurate technical specifications
- You will be expected to demonstrate technical competence in all software solutions and implementation methodologies within this role
Skills / Experience required:
- You will need to demonstrate your ability to work independently with minimal supervision, but also your ability to work well as part of a project team
- Highly competent in the delivery of POS technical implementations - packaging applications together with existing infrastructures and deploying these efficiently
- You may be working in 3rd Line Support, looking to progress towards a Business Consultant position
- You must possess a high level of self-motivation
- Extremely capable of delivering to time and budget with a "Get it Right First Time" approach
- Proven experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Retail Systems, POS Deployment, Card Payment Integration, Enterprise Solutions
