This is an important position for our client who are in a very exciting period of growth, you will be tasked with expanding the already exisiting client relationships across the UK and bringing new revenue streams to the organisation as you undertake this exciting New Business Development role.
Viewed as a leader within the EPOS software space the business work with some of the most recognisable and credible customers within the retail and hospitality space. For over 30 years they have been providing innovative EPOS software that has managed to stay at the cutting edge of the industry.
Head officed in Ireland my client is looking to replicate their success here in the UK by way of an office in the Midlands. With a very ‘grown up’ culture that promotes it’s employees to take control of their own diary and day to day running of the role.
You will work in conjunction with a Technical pre-sales engineer to generate leads and sales opportunities with multi-sited retail and hospitality customers across the UK. The key responsibilities will include, fully identifying potential clients that could benefit from the excellent suite of products you have to offer. You will cover a National remit and unearth new customers and account whilst servicing and upselling to the existing accounts you are responsible for.
In the initial stages of your role it is more important that you demonstrate the right activity levels and have a positive attitude toward your duties and this is reflected by way that you do not take on a revenue target inside the first 12 months.
The ideal candidate will be working in a similar role selling EPOS software or equipment to retailers and hospitality clients. As above the right attitude to the role is equally as important to our client as prior product knowledge. It would be beneficial to be located near enough to commute regularly to Derby although the role will require you to travel Nationally to attend client meetings.
