Concept Resourcing are delighted to once again be partnered with a well-known client of ours who are looking to recruit a Global Category Manager to join their Procurement function.
Joining a large and successful team located in the West Midlands, this is a hybrid role with occasional travel. This role has a generous benefits package whilst offering a salary close to £80,000 for the successful applicant.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Category Manager to join an extremely successful function, focussing on IT and Professional Services. As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the procurement strategy within the IT & Professional Services category.
The successful candidate will be confident in strategic procurement, with a proven track record in end-to-end category management. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in fast-paced matrix environments and has a demonstrated ability to handle substantial spend values.
As a Global Category Manager, you will be a respected member of the Procurement leadership team with line management of 6 commercially minded professionals.
The successful candidate
You will be results orientated with strong commercial acumen and have a passion for driving improvements and innovation. You will need to have experience in running end to end tenders and be an expert within the IT / Professional Services category.
You must be confident in working with spends over £100M with particular experience in Hardware, Software, Licensing & Professional Services.
