Purchasing Administrator

Our client a well-established company is in search of a Purchasing Administrator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly reputable manufacturing company.

Main Responsibilities:

• Process Purchase orders accurately, on a timely basis, and in accordance with company policy
• Ensure order specification is correctly understood before raising orders
• Review Purchase order requisitions to ensure best value for money and in accordance with company policy
• Liaise with yard staff to ensure a free flow of information about expected goods receipts
• Liaise with suppliers
• Assist Procurement Manager in the production of Procurement statistics
• Extract and report off of the purchasing system

The successful candidate must have:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Negotiation Skills
• Good Communication Skills
• Analytical Ability
