Concept International are looking for an experienced Backend API Developer to join a current, well embedded Engineering team in an integral position to maintaining the backend for web-based user interfaces and client-side applications allowing customers to visualize network/data and interact with the appliance.

Key Deliverables:

• Must have the skillset to design and maintain RESTful API's that connect web applications, backend databases and command line interfaces,
• Ability to work closely with UI/UX teams in order to define data schemas and core application teams,
• Develop unit and functional tests,
• Maintain a high quality of code consistently,
• Develop and maintain architectures for supporting secure user authentication and single sign on systems,
• Remote position - Typically Monday-Friday although flexibility may be needed should a fault arise for troubleshooting on evenings/weekends.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• 3+ Years of professional experience as a developing production commercial software or services.
• Expert knowledge in developing RESTful API's in Python (Flask),
• Proficient with SQL databases,
• Experience with PostgreSQL,
• Proficient with Git & CI/CD Pipelines,
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment,
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in either Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology,
