Depot Maintenance Technician

Depot Maintenance Technician / Engineer - Falkirk- £31,654 - £33,996 per annum + benefits.
We are looking for an experienced maintenance technician / engineer who has vast knowledge of working on and maintaining electrical and mechanical plant equipment in Distribution Centres in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down Company Health and Safety policy.

WHAT? Are they looking for from a Depot Maintenance Technician / Engineer?

• You will be working with a range of electrical and mechanical plant.
• Some general building fabric maintenance throughout the Depot will also be required.
• Technical Experience in Mechanical and Electrical Plant.
• Will be required to be on call for 1 week out for 4.
• Experience applying these technical skills in sectors such as: Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics, Facilities, Food Production Plants or General Factory environments.
• Good customer service experience.
• Used to working to PPM's and timescales.
• Ideally hold a City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3 or NVQ Level 3.
• 17th or 18th edition wiring regs is essential.
• You will be a strong communicator at all levels and be able to react to priority changes.
• Understanding of working to a health and safety policy
• Must be commutable to Falkirk
• Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence and full use of their own vehicle (pool vehicle will be provided for when you are on call).

Your normal hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm
