Location: Peterborough/Remote (Hybrid)
Rate: £300 - £350 per day
IR35 Status: Inside

I currently supporting a customer in recruiting for a 2rd Line Application and Cloud Engineer with proven experience of AWS/Azure, this role is to support a large portfolio of end customers on behalf of a global Professional Services business.
2nd Line Application and Cloud engineer responsibilities:

• Utilize the incident management system to respond accordingly to end customers and provide them with a technical solution within service level agreements.
• Mange the workload in partnership with the team
• Provide advise and technical expertise to 1st line engineers.
• Work with Team Members and Analysts to provide next action points.
• Ensure implementations are provided alongside the relevant documentation, training and expertise within the Support and Service Desk areas.
• When required, recommend, and deploy changes via the Change Management process.
• Provide customers with technical assistance to current and ongoing projects.

2nd Line Application and Cloud Engineer Skills/Experience required:

• 2-3 years' experience in similar SLA driven support roles
• Customer Service Skills
• Experience delivering projects and complex changes
• Relevant industry recognised qualifications

Technical Experience:

• Windows Service 2008/2012/2016/2019
• Active Directory user and computer management
• File / Print Server

Microsoft:

• Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
• Microsoft365
• Intune and endpoint management
• Teams
• Exchange and SharePoint on-line
• Azure AD
• Microsoft Defender

Desirable Skills:

• Microsoft Azure knowledge
• AWS Knowledge
• SCCM Knowledge
• VMWare Knowledge
