Account Director - Emergency Services

The role of the Account Director Reporting to the Network Services Sales Director, you will be responsible for business development to drive new, long term, profitable orders with multiple customers in the Emergency Services sector.

With a focus on Sales growth, develop and drive new business with annual sales in line with the Network Services 5 Year Plan. Requiring breadth and depth of experience and a collaborative attitude you'll manage key customer relationships, drive profitable growth to ensure you meet and exceed the order/sales growth targets. You will be responsible for the growth of key customer accounts and win landmark new customer contracts.

Account Director Responsibilities

  • Drive business development activity to win new Emergency Services customers.
  • To grow orders with selected key customers in the Emergency Services
  • Develop a strong pipeline which reflects 3* cover annual targets across a 5-year plan
  • Build share and action Account Development Plans for key customers
  • Provide Industry knowledge and whitespace analysis of the Emergency Services marketplace
  • Understand the partner/vendor landscape in Emergency Services
  • To support Marketing to drive effective new business development campaigns.
  • To work with Bid Management to continually improve the quality of proposals
  • To apply risk management techniques to sales proposals that ensure the most competitive offer
  • To optimise the use of available data to increase efficiency and sharing of knowledge across the business

Director Requirements

  • Sold into and won Emergency Services accounts
  • IT communications background
  • Have driven & hungry to earn
