Hi, what is your role at Concept?

I’m an Accounts Assistant within the Operations team, primarily responsible for purchase ledger and GP reporting.

Tell us about your journey at Concept so far.

I started in April 2017 and have since expanded my role to include permanent invoicing and daily banking reconciliation. I’ve also had the pleasure of attending some of the incentives here, including Lunch Club at a top restaurant in Birmingham.

Why do you love accounting?

I enjoy working with numbers where everything is black and white.

Why Concept?

I love working with great people in a business that offers flexibility on working hours and a supportive team. It’s a really convenient location for me too.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I’m a very active person, I paddleboard and go out on long walks whenever I can. I also like to cook and enjoy a good glass of wine.

Finally, if you were a film character who would you be?

I’d say Kathleen, Meg Ryan’s character in You’ve Got Mail, I’m an old romantic really.
