Hi, What is your role at Concept?
My role at Concept is to work with new and existing clients to develop and build relationships and improve service by offering them an enhanced delivery based on their business needs. I work across all sectors but predominantly focus on the Technology space.
Tell us about your journey at Concept so far.
I started at Concept as a recruitment consultant in 2003 and am proud to be one of our longest standing employees. Since joining I’ve performed most of the roles on our career path on my way up to my current position including, senior recruiter, team leader, management consultant and finally Director. During this period I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of IT organisations and gain in depth knowledge of the technology marketplace.
Why do you love recruitment?
It’s an ever changing landscape. By offering a better service to my clients and candidates year on year and learning from situations and people I’ve been able to challenge myself continually and vastly expand my knowledge. After 15 years, my goal is to focus on the quality aspect of recruitment and building true relationships with the clients we support is something I thoroughly enjoy.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
With two children under 5 I rarely have any ‘spare time’ but do enjoy spending most of my time outside of work with them.
Finally, if you were a film character who would you be?
Rocky of course. He’s my idol and demonstrates what continual hard work can achieve. I may even have a poster or two around the house!
