Hi, What is your role at Concept?

I am a consultant within our field engineering division specialising in placing engineers experienced in the service, maintenance and repair of medical devices such as sterilization, disinfection and autoclaves.

Tell us about your journey at Concept so far.

I joined in 2017 to take over an already established division of the business. Since joining I have been able to make it my own and grow the division. I’ve built some really good relationships with candidates and clients, scheduling several meetings and building rapport with my day to day contacts and developing my knowledge of the industry and required skills. I’ve attended the Lunch Club incentive and a great Christmas Party and look forward to qualifying for additional incentives in the future.

Why do you love recruitment?

I enjoy helping people achieve their goals and develop their careers by finding them new jobs. I love the interaction with candidates and clients and that I get to meet new people every day and help improve their lives.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

As a Scottish native I like to travel home and visit family and friends when I can. I have a puggle dog and enjoy long country walks with her on the weekends. I’m also a big fan of travelling and like to go and sit in the sun with a cocktail in hand. Recent favourite trips have included Dubai and Thailand.

Finally, if you were a film character who would you be?

Merida from Disney’s Brave because I’m independent, fierce and loyal just like her. I always find a way to overcome challenges thrown at me. Did I mention she’s Scottish too?
