What is your role at Concept?

I am a Recruitment Consultant in charge of supporting clients with mid level to senior level hires across the Networking & Security and Cloud & Infrastructure disciplines, all across the UK.

Why do you love recruitment?

Recruitment for me is an opportunity to network with professionals across the world of IT which is truly an ever-changing and continuously evolving discipline. Having come from a sales background, and almost falling into recruitment, I have the opportunity to “consult” and educate my candidates and clients on the current market, managing the process for them from inception to completion and architecting their recruitment journey along the way.

Why Concept?

I started in April 2019 and helped build the Cloud and Infrastructure  discipline within the Permanent division. I quickly progressed and got promoted within the first 6 months of joining Concept and had the opportunity to attend fantastic, structured training sessions within and outside of Concept. Now I have progressed into other disciplines including Network & Security, becoming a multi-disciplined Recruitment Consultant.

Why Concept?

Completing an enjoyable and eye-opening interview process with Concept Resourcing, I was drawn into the positivity this organisation offered in terms of progression and ability to work with like-minded people who also share a passion for recruitment (and to make some serious money!).

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I am a Lead Violinist for The People’s Orchestra (TPO, as seen on BBC4) and Lead Violist for a string quartet. On another note, I enjoy sharing time with friends and family as much as I can, have recently possessed a keen interest in property development and I love hot-hatches!

Finally, if you were a film character who would you be?

I was once involved in a photoshoot for the advertising of a themed concert with TPO called “Fantastic Beats & Where to Hear Them” – I portrayed Percival Graves, mainly because of the haircut.

“I've dealt with a lot of recruiters but not a single one comes close to how helpful you've been throughout this process. The advice on how to present myself to what the company were looking for, the updates on how the process was going, the feedback you've passed on - I felt that it has really contributed to my success in this process and I appreciate it. It really came across as going above & beyond to help me succeed and I think it made a big difference, so thank you”
