Midlands Air Ambulance Colour Obstacle Rush

On Saturday the 28th of July, the Concept team descended on Wolverhampton Race Course for the Midlands Air Ambulance Colour Obstacle Rush. As longstanding supporters of MAA, we were overjoyed to be able to take part in the 5k Colour Obstacle Rush and kick off our charity activity with a bang.

Luckily we weren’t the only ones getting covered in paint on the day as the Midlands Air Ambulance paramedics also got involved and it was very humbling to be able to run alongside them. This provided our team with a great opportunity to get chatting to them to hear all about the incredible work they do.

Our Project Services Senior Account Manager, Amy Evans, was among the runners on the day. She has this to say, “It was a really fun day for everyone involved and the team loved spending time with the critical care paramedics and learning all about what they do. They even showed us round the equipment that they use so we could see how they differ from NHS paramedics in the services they provide.”

All in all we had a brilliant time getting colourful for a worthy cause, a huge thank you to Midlands Air Ambulance for organising yet another brilliant event. Having raised £45,710 for MAA already over the years, we’re proud to be partnering with them once again and have filled our calendar with even more fundraising events.

Next on the calendar is our We Are A Knockout event on the 12th of August where you’ll get to watch us brave nine treacherous inflatable obstacle courses all in the name of saving lives. If you’d like to help support our next MAA charity event, you can donate via our JustGiving page.
