On Friday the 24th of January the Concept Resourcing team took to The Windmill Village Hotel in Coventry to celebrate their annual January launch event with an awards ceremony in the company of suppliers and partners.
With 2019 proving to be a fantastic year for the business with a number of records reached including seeing 5 consultants make it into Concept’s millionaires club – an accolade which recognises the business’s highest billers.
Some of Concept’s biggest highlights from 2019 include the bolstering of its Milton Keynes office with new management and supporting team, increasing headcount by an impressive 15% and the introduction of a suite of innovative products to help its clients tackle new industry challenges.
Additionally, 2019 saw a quarter of the Concept workforce receive promotions thanks to their hard work and the exponential growth of the business over the last year. A number of awards were handed out from Consultant of the Year to Operations Team Member of the Year, The Excellent Effort Award and many more.
Taking centre stage during the event was none other than former World Champion boxer Frank Bruno who delivered an impassioned speech on the importance of mental wellbeing for true success both professionally and personally. Tackling poignant topics such as the significance of self-belief and how to learn to get back up again when you fall, Bruno did a fantastic job of getting the team fired up for everything to come in 2020.
Concept’s Managing Director, Matt Gillen, was delighted by the performance of the business. He had the following to say, “Recognising and rewarding our team for their ambition is intrinsic to who we are as a business. We’ve seen our people demonstrate real prowess in their unique specialisms over the last 12 months – there’s no doubt in my mind that 2020 will be better than ever.”
